Preferential oxidation of CO in a H2O/CO2/H2 environment is being investigated at CCL. Both wire mesh and monolith platforms under varying inlet temperatures and space velocities have been studied in order to optimize the CO conversion and CO selectivity. A mechanistic description is being developed to characterize the change in CO conversion during operation under both kinetic and mass transport control.
