On April 10 ,2013, the Canadian Energy-From-Waste Coalition (CEFWC) hosted an EFW workshop in conjunction with the SWANA Pacific Northwest (PNW) Chapter annual general meeting in Richmond, British Columbia. The goal was to educate key BC-based influencers and decision-makers about the merits of EFW. By all accounts it was a tremendous success. Dr. Castaldi was among the presenters, speaking on “A global assessment of EFW implementation.” Based on the feedback received, CEFWC will be repeating this exercise in eastern Canada and Alberta, as well as with other potential stakeholder groups.
