CCL members engage in discussions at NYCS 2025 spring symposium

On March 12, 2025, the Catalysis Society of Metropolitan New York (NYCS) convened its annual Spring Symposium at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Representatives from the Combustion and Catalysis Laboratory (CCL), including Principal Investigator Dr. Marco Castaldi, postdoctoral fellow Michael Lugo-Pimentel, and doctoral candidate Kaitlyn Lawrence, actively participated in the event.

Dr. Castaldi and Kaitlyn Lawrence chaired technical sessions, facilitating discussions on recent advancements in catalysis research. Ms. Lawrence also presented a poster, “Efficacy of Waste-to-Energy Ash in NOx Abatement”.

The symposium provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange among professionals in the field, highlighting the latest developments and fostering collaborations within the catalysis community.
