Stephy Cui is an undergraduate in Chemical Engineering with a growing interest in materials processing and applied thermochemical systems. She is currently working in the Combustion & Catalysis Lab on plastic pyrolysis, collaborating closely with Milton Lliguichuzhca to explore pathways for converting waste polymers into usable products. A Queens native, Stephy brings a hands-on background that includes apprenticing in neon sign glass-bending, which sparked her fascination with materials and fabrication. She plans to pursue a career developing advanced materials for consumer products or technologies designed for use in space.
