Milton Lliguichuzhca is a PhD student in the Chemical Engineering Department at The City College of New York and a member of the Combustion & Catalysis Laboratory. His doctoral research focuses on the catalytic pyrolysis of waste plastics, with broader interests in waste-to-energy systems, catalysis, and reaction engineering. Milton earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from The City College of New York in 2020, with a minor in mathematics. Before beginning graduate school, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a process automation engineer at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, where he gained experience in automation and control systems.
