CCL member Steve Crowley was featured in the City College of New York Division of Science Annual Report for his work to create an on-campus community for grad students in science and engineering! Steve and his colleague, Jose Pinto, are aiming to “stimulate give and take between engineering and the sciences by encouraging camaraderie and exchange of ideas” says Steve. Steve and Jose plan professional development workshops, seminars, and social events. They recently organized a very successful “open mic” night in which science and engineering students shared their research in an informal atmosphere.
