Ariana Ahmad is an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. She works in the Combustion & Catalysis Lab on lithium orthosilicate sorbent-enhanced water–gas shift systems, with a growing interest in environmentally focused process design. Originally from Queens, New York, Ariana aims to develop sustainable engineering solutions for contaminant removal in water and soil and ultimately contribute to cleaner, more resilient energy and environmental systems.
