Olivia Manring is a post-baccalaureate researcher in the Combustion & Catalysis Lab. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin–Parkside in May 2024 and is originally from Kenosha, Wisconsin. Olivia is interested in applying quantitative and experimental methods to challenges in materials and environmental engineering, with a particular focus on plastic waste. She hopes to contribute to practical, accessible solutions that reduce the environmental impacts of plastics and support more sustainable waste management practices.
